    This image was created in response to a friend speaking of his anxiety after sending a letter to a long time friend hoping to be lover. I think it also speaks of many other life experiences where one wishes to take something back, or perhaps is forced to endure a long period of nervousness as he awaits his sentence.

    So I’m finally settled into my new apartment in Columbus OH and am very, very happy to have the time and space to be creating work again.     *At the time this piece was done “The Cave” did not actually offer a stage or live music. This was added later in the studio though the right side [actually left, as the image was flipped in the printing process] is fairly consistent with the actual bar.

    I can’t think of a job i had more fun working on. This is largely due to the enthusiasm and graciousness of the clients. I couldn’t wait to finish each piece just to hear their excitement in promoting this venture. Unfurtunately the ball kind of dropped on Porky and the whole offshore gambling thing, but he managed to survive this blow and now lives on as the GM of a fantasy football team. In Porky We Trust.

    I wish I had another image that more deeply represents the atmosphere of Club Foot(corner of Honore & and Augusta, Chicago IL). This place is amazing. This particular image is focused more on its occupants than the bar itself. Perhaps the Good Lord will grant me the opportunity to complete another piece to due true justice to all the work the proprietors have invested in making this a truely mystical place. Until then I will continue to grace its bar stools only in memory.
